쇼와 63년(1988) 경에 구립 오구미야마에 초등학교의 수업에서 야하타신사를 중심으로 오토나시가와로부터 농업용수를 끌어다 쓴 것을 나타내는 지도를 본 어린이들은, 지금은 흐르지 않는 몇 줄기나 되는 강들의 존재를 알고, 할머니 할아버지로부터 옛날 이야기를 듣고, 후대에 전하기 위해 이 길을 만들었습니다.
