"Ninomiya Kinjiro" is on display here.
In this place, an apartment complex was built for people who moved in the Taisho period following the Great Kanto Earthquake. At that time, they relied on a shrine called "Ninomiya Jinja," and this "Ninomiya Kinjiro" statue was created to commemorate the recovery efforts.
Although the statue is all that remains now, the townspeople hold it in high esteem, so when the apartments were rebuilt, it was moved to its current location.
