Kezōin Temple

The temple holds two medieval board monuments and many stone monuments which remain in the precincts. It has been a place of education for Ueogumura (former name of Oku), with the Teragoya Egawadō opening in Kōka 2 (1845), and the Private Tanabe Elementary School, the predecessor of the present Ogu Elementary School, was established in Meiji 11 (1878).
