Jizōji Temple
The Honzon (principal image or principal deity) Jizōbosatsu (Kṣitigarbha) is said to be the work of Prince Shotoku and is believed to be a Kosodate Jizōson (Child-bearing Jizōson). It began as Jizōdō, opening in Hōreki 1 (1751), and was called Jizōji in the 9th year of the same era (1760).
In the Hakkakudō (octagon hall), there is the Sentaijizōson and a monument engraved with the Amida-Sanzon-Raigōzu.
