The main part starts here.
Nippori Station, a stop on the Keisei Skyliner that connects to Narita Airport, Japan's gateway, is an ideal base for sightseeing, with several convenient hotels nearby. Our shop is located within the adjacent JR East Nippori Station. We primarily sell arare, a traditional Japanese snack. Our arare is made from domestically grown glutinous rice. The rice cakes are pounded into pieces roughly 1 cm square, then baked in high-temperature hot air. They have a very light texture, similar to a snack. The arare is packaged in a miniature rice bag. Rice bags are traditional bags used to store rice, a staple food in Japan, and their appearance is very Japanese. In addition to arare, we also offer jelly that looks just like the Shine Muscat grapes you see displayed in the fruit section. Each jelly is contained in a small balloon, and it's fun to pop the balloon just before eating to reveal the jelly. If you are looking for delicious Japanese souvenirs, please visit our store.
