It has been enshrined here since ancient times, and from the ridge plate dating back to 1335, it can be assumed that it was built earlier, but when Tokugawa Ieyasu entered Edo (1590), farmers from Mikawa Province moved to the townhouse. There are various theories such as that it was worshiped as Shio. During the Tenno Festival at Soshio Shrine in Minamisenju, the shrine is set up as an Otabisho during the main festival, which is held once every three years.
